SeaLoading was established in 2014 and we have our headquarter in Arendal on the south coast of Norway. SeaLoading holds all rights to the proprietary CTV technology, and we own and operate a fleet of vessels based on the unique CTV technology. In addition to our highly qualified personnel, SeaLoading works closely with industry leaders to ensure our services can be offered worldwide.

The Arendal area has a long history of shipping, and later offshore services, and it remains one of the leading maritime clusters in Norway. The CTV technology was developed in this maritime cluster, with the SeaLoading founders mixing strong commercial, engineering and technological skills, experience and deep industry knowledge ensuring a design suited for the market with both operational, economical and environmental value for clients.

Since our inception in 2014, SeaLoading has worked closely with a number of oil majors. In SeaLoading we are proud to be working with the industry to ensure reduced costs and emissions from offshore loading operations combining our proprietary technology and high quality ship owning. Together with our clients SeaLoading is committed to deliver on our mission to create value for the industry and society through innovation and safe operations.

Yoshiro Kubo is the Chief Executive Officer of SeaLoading since 2023. He is working for Mitsui OSK Lines,Ltd. since 1985 and working for various divisions such as Container Dept, Financial Division, Bulk Carrier Division, Ferry company so on.
Hiroshi Watanabe is the Chief Commercial Officer of SeaLoading. He has been working with SeaLoading since 2021. He has been working for Mitsui OSK Lines, Ltd. since 2008 and involved in the CTV business for more than five years.
Tatsuya Obi is the Chief Quality Assurance Officer and he has been working with SeaLoading since 2022. He is a Master Mariner experienced various conventional vessels.


Hilde Smedal Thunes is the Chief Technical Officer in SeaLoading and has been working with SeaLoading since 2014. She holds an MSc. in Naval Architecture from NTNU, and has significant industry experience within her field of expertise.
Petter Ellingsen is the head of marine operations in SeaLoading and has been working with SeaLoading since 2015. He is a Master Mariner/DPO and as extensive experience from conventional tankers, DP shuttle tankers, DP drilling rigs, as well as various positions onshore.
Kjetil Soma is the Accounting Officer of Sealoading. He has been working with Sealoading since 2015.
